The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is a financing instrument created by the European Union for the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy by the member countries.

The European Fisheries Fund is the second financial instrument of the EU, designed to ensure the sustainable development of the European fishing and aquaculture sector.

News

In February, 20th, 2008, the National Rural Development Plan 2007- 2013 was officially approved by the representatives of the Rural Development Committee of the European Commission, and in March the first call for projects is to be made, based on the Guides for Solicitors published on the websites of the Ministry for Agriculture and the Agency of Payments for Rural Development and Fisheries. For 2008, seven sessions for projects are forecasted, early announced, so the beneficiaries could act accordingly.
